Large Hide A Squirrel Plush Puzzle
I am not sure what is more fun -- getting the squirrels out of the stump or playing with the squirrels. Every dog should have this toy! -- Betsy, the farm dog

Betsy is barking about this Hide A Squirrel, it is her one of her favorite toys! PLUS NOW it comes in three sizes! So this toy can be all of her dog friends, no matter what their size, favorite toy too! It has the same principal of an IQube puzzle toy because you put the little squirrels into the stump for your dog to find and remove. I have to put this toy up or Betsy will not stop taking the squirrels (they look like chipmunks to me) out and bringing me the stump to put them back in. Norman just wants to carry these little guys around and squeak them. You can probably tell there is not a lot of quiet time at our house. This is the LARGE size Hide a Squirrel so the stump is about 7 1/2 inches high and is 7 inches in diameter. It contains 3 squirrels with bushy tails. By the way, we also have refill squirrels available for this size stump. The instructions say: 1. Your dog will be most attracted to IQube if your scent is on the toy. To best transfer your scent to the toy, we recommend you place it in your laundry basket of already worn, but unlaundered and dry, clothes for a minimum of 12 hours before introducing it to your pet. 2. Next, introduce your dog to the squeaker balls by removing them from inside the cube and playing with them interactively with your pet for a few minutes. 3. Once your pet is engaged and interested in the squeaker balls, place the balls back inside the cube. Squeak them several times after they have been placed inside the cube, and let your dog go from there. After your dog has successfully removed the squeaker balls from the cube, you may replace them repeatedly for maximum fun, entertainment and skill development. 4. Most dogs also enjoy trying to get treats and other toys out from inside the cube.

Mom puts the squirrels in, and I pull them out. And sometimes I'll get Sally to play tug-of-war with me with the trunk (Mom thougt for sure we'd end up destroying it, but we've had no luck--so far). And she even buys replacement squirrels for me, even though she knows with me, they have a limited life expectancy. Funny thing, she doesn't seem to care, though, because she knows that I'll have fun with the squirrels even after I've torn them apart! I highly reccommend you get your person to buy this for you!

Our yellow lab loves this toy. He takes the squirrels out, plays with them and then we tell him to bring them back. We put the squirrel back in and do it all over again. Fun for him and us. |

Timber is an avid chewer, and tries to destroy every toy he gets. When i got this for him, i though for sure it would be done in a week like many of his other toys from the pet store, but surprisingly, it's 2 months later and it's still going!

Kati and Abby play tug-a-war constantly with the trunk and haven't destroyed it yet! The squirrels weren't so lucky but I bought the replacements which they will get for Christmas. This is one sturdy toy! Lindamcco@hotmail.com

Zeke, our Beardie, got this puzzle toy last Christmas and really loves it. Every toy seems to turn into a tug toy for him and this one has endured lots of pulling. When I get tired of the tug though, Zeke works at getting the squirrels out. It's a great toy and keeps him entertained!
