March 2010 we found out that Premier Pet Product is now a subsidiary of Radio Systems Corporation. Radio Systems Corporation makes shock collars and other electric shock products. While we recognize that some dogs can tolerate shock training...we never recommend it for any dog! Therefore, we have decided to stop selling all Premier Pet Products. We love dogs...and it shows!

Finally, a toy that keeps Betsy challenged! This new treat dispensing/puzzle toy has Betsy scratching her head. She cannot figure out how to get the treats just to fall out -- she has to work for everyone. She has played with her Busy Buddy Tug-a-Jug for hours; it just keeps her entertained. Mainly, she swings it by the rope so the tough plastic bottle hits her in the head. I have to admit that I have not put a lot of treats in this bottle (you can easily unscrew the bottom of the bottle to insert the treats and to clean it out) if I put more she would probably figure out what makes the treats come out. But that would not be as much fun as watching her work on this puzzle.

According to the package, this Tug-a-Jug is the ultimate interactive toy. It keeps your dog busy with good things to chew! The clear purple bottle (it is made of bulletproof non-toxic material) has small holes drilled in it so your dog can see, hear, AND smell the treats. It has a rope stopper -- if your dog is quicker than Betsy it will learn to push the rope in and out to get this bottle to dispense the treats. In addition, there is a rubber-spiked-ball cap that Betsy just loves to chew on. This toy comes in two sizes so make sure you see all of our Tug-a-Jug listings.

This SMALL Tug-a-Jug is best for dogs under 40 pounds. It is about 8 inches tall not including the 12-inch rope stopper.
