These are the treats that Betsy's trainers, Pat and Shannon, use in their Dog School. Which is how we learned about Durango treats to begin with -- then I found out that Durango is now a division of KONG, so you know that these are quality products. Betsy's trainer uses these treats because you can easily and quickly break them apart, they are dry, and dogs love them. These are the treats that Betsy turned her nose up at on her first day of school -- but she could only resist one time because she just loves them. By the way, we call them school cookies. I try to give the smallest size treat possible that gets Betsy or Norman to do what ever I requested. These work great because they are like very thin Wheat Thins and you can just break off any size piece that you want. They are also great for giving jack-pot rewards -- because you just keep breaking off little pieces.

We have 3 toy rat terriers who are like our children. I always try to find treats that are good for them that they all like and small enough for them to chew. They love these treats better and any I have ever given them. If they see the bag they start begging and dancing before I even pick it up. Great product!!!

Mom gets us to go inside by telling us that she's going to give us chiplets once we get in the house. I know it sounds cheap, but once we go outside first thing in the morning when everything's so bright and beautiful, our sheer enjoyment sometimes outweighs mom's ability to let us stay out any longer. When that happens, she just says, "Okay guys--let's go in-side and get some chiplets!" It's a cheap trade-off, but it helps us get going in the right direction. I really like the peanut butter ones, too.

My 2 Schnauzers have a number of food allergies. Fortunatley, this treat has proven to work well for them and we continue to use it in their KONG toy daily. |

I have three toys ( 2 IGs and 1 Crested), all with small mouths and little teeth. These treats are perfect for them. For training, I even break the squares in half. There thiness and flavor is just perfect for all toy breeds. My guys love them!
