Great fun, 6.30.2009

This toy was an instant success in my house. As soon as I pulled it out of the box, my blue heeler started to work on it. Within just a few minutes, he had it figured out and had the shapes out in less than 10 minutes. I stuffed them back in the cube and he didn't take but a minute to pull them out again. My only problem with this toy was that it is not very durable. By nightfall, it was in pieces. I'd say a great toy for a dog that doesn't de-stuff his toys.
Thanks, Mom, for getting me this GREAT toy!, 5.3.2008

I had lots of fun sticking my big ol' coonhound nose in there and pulling out all the different shapes! And my, what shapes they were! (Mom says emphasis on the "were.") Now remember, I'm a soft-toy shredder, so again, take my review with a grain of kibble. The shapes were very fun to play fetch with and even tug-of-war with Sally. In the end, though, I regrettably pulled them all apart to get at the squeaky and throw the stuffing up in the air with great abandon! I wish they sold replacement shapes like they do for other Kyjen toys. Right now she stuffs my Cagey Cube with Egg Baby eggs (the ones I haven't yet shredded), Hide-a-Squirrels, and other appealing toys. It almost doesn't matter how large the toy is, I can always manage to pull it out through the openings and have fun. I give this toy 5 bones, while Mom only gives it 4 because of the destructability of the soft shapes. (Which, by the way, have SQUEAKIES in them!) She's going to vote my way, though, because this toy is so much fun for me, and I haven't destroyed the cube, which she can still put other things other than the shapes it came with in there for me to continue to play. Mom says the cube is versatile and doesn't become useless once the shapes are gone.
