I have 3 beagle pups and 2 of them will play with anything placed in front of them. However, Monty the largest pup, prefers this toy and always has it in his mouth. They all love the tug of war and the "shake it up" part of this toy. They have completely destroyed all stuffed and flat animals and this one is the only one still alive. The only part that needed fixing was the fleece covering came off the ball. I trimmed it off and we were good to go.
