Mom why do the snakes keep going back into their holes? Betsy, The Puzzle Dog

Interactive Hide a Puzzle
I could not wait to get the new Hide a puzzle for Betsy to test. She loves her puzzle dog toys; Norman loves the little toys inside because they always have big squeakers. The Snakes in the Grass toy is different from the original puzzle toys because two of the little snakes are attached to the inside with elastic. Betsy was not sure what to think about them snapping back. It certainly keeps her occupied and thinking...which is what puzzle toys are for! Norman was relieved to find that the snakes have big squeakers in their heads -- he walks around with the one that comes out in this mouth. He looks so funny with a snake tail coming out of his mouth. The snakes are about 7 inches long and their heads are 2 inches wide. The snake grass container is about 6.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. There are three snake openings -- one in the top and two on the sides. The fleece outside is lined with a tough nylon fabric so that it is stiffer and stronger.

I bought this for my miniature rat terrier, Pixel. She has had the squirrels in tree trunk previously and loved it. I had to stop buying those because of issues with design. This one seems better in my opinion. I would have liked to see tougher materials used but she loves sticking her head in the holes and getting the snakes out and chopping on the heads to make them squeak.
