What could be tougher than a Rhinoceros dog toy? A Rhino toy made with Chewguard. ChewGuard is Sherpa Dog Toys proprietary manufacturing process that adds a super tough honeycomb nylon fabric layer to the high quality plush outer fabric. The result is one of the toughest dog toys on the market today. Betsy makes every toy into a shake toy -- she loves to grab this Rhinoceros by the horn and shake away. Norman likes its cawer because it does not have any padding around it -- in fact, this Rhino only has stuffing in its head and legs. I keep remind Norman not to bite too hard on the cawer-- he loves the sound so much I do not think that he will be tempted. This is certainly Betsy and Norman approved as a flipping, shaking, and noisy dog toy. This big toy is about 16.5 inches long of Rhino toughness.

Yes, this toy has a chew guard and I would give it 5 stars for being very tough, except that the two horns have no chew guard, stick out temptingly, and are very flimsy. My dog, and most dogs actually, start chewing on any extremities that stick out. A few chews on the horns and she had access to all the stuffing inside. From there, she pulled out all the stuffing and the noisemaker. The toy would be very strong and a lot of fun if the horns were not so week and flimsy. For 25 bucks they should have put the chew guard in the horns too.
