This purple with green polka dot print octopus is almost 13 inches across and 5 inches high. Betsy loves to play fetch with this guy because it spins through the air like a helicopter. Every dog deserves a Tuffie dog toy!
This toy has is rated 7 out of 10 on the Tuff Scale -- which means it is "A really tough toy, but still vulnerable."
Tuffie's are tough toys with heavy duty construction -- TUFFIES have 3 layers (2 layers of industrial grade nylon and a layer of fleece) of material and SEVEN rows of stitching! All three layers of material are quilted together then each section is bound with nylon webbing and TRIPLE stitched. THEN they bind all of the edges with MORE nylon webbing and FOUR more rows of stitching. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that all of the squeakers are in individual pouches of industrial grade nylon. Tuffie's Pet Toys are the answer to some of our metal-jaw de-stuffers; however, they are not indestructible. The manufacture designs Tuffie's to be interactive (not chew) toys.
I think what Norman liked so much is the firmness of the toy -- or maybe it is the softness of the fleece covering -- I am not sure. He loved this toy before he even tested its squeakers. The squeakers by the way are pretty quiet -- which is ok, because dog’s hearing is so keen. People will appreciate the quite squeakers when they are trying to talk or watch TV.
