Inside-Out Rawhide Rolls have the collagen layer on the outside. Bet you did not know that there was a collagen layer on rawhide...I didn't either. You see when rawhide is shipped before it is processed, this layer is usually removed. Your dog will love this collagen layer...it is the icing on the rawhide cake. This LARGE Inside-Out natural rawhide roll is about 7 to 8 inches long and is about 1.5 inches in diameter. By the way, this is a long sheet of rawhide rolled up...not a big piece on the outside and little chunks on the inside. Now that is one yummy and long lasting rawhide bone.

Wholesome Hide rawhide is process in the USA from USA raised beef. Some rawhide companies claim to be American Made Rawhide; however that means anywhere in North or South America. Our American Rawhide is from the USA, so you know it is natural and safe.

A word about rawhide safety. We would not sell rawhide if we did not think it is safe for dogs. However, some Vets do not think dogs should have rawhide...so check with your Veterinarian before giving rawhide to your dog. Also, you will notice that we do not sell rawhide that has knots in it -- we think the knots could be a problem for dogs, so we think it is better to be safe than sorry. Betsy and Norman rarely get rawhide because they do not share very well. If you have a multiple dog home and dogs who do not share, rawhide is a great chew treat to give to your dogs while they are in their crates. As with any other new dog toy, it is best to supervise you dog while they enjoy their new rawhide dog toy.
