MY New Categories

I finally demanded new categories for my dog fans. All dogs care about what I think! Especially, what I think about dog toys that are great for tugging and shaking.
We now have two new categories for those dogs who love to shake and play tug with their toys.
I believe that shaking dog toys are best when they have long floppy pieces that hit you in the head when you shake them. If the heavier, the floppy pieces the better the dog toy shakes-- I am sure that you agree. I know that you will love my new shake category, if you find a toy I left out (I am perfect so I am sure that would never happen) please let me know and I will re-test the toy to make sure it meets me shaking standard.
Tugging takes two -- either two dogs or a human and a dog. Some trainers use to say that people should never play tug with dogs...well, some might even still say that...I think (and you are reading this because you want to know what I think!) that tugging with people is great especially if you can pull them over. Our mom has this stupid rule that when she says "no tug" I have to drop the toy. So...until she forgets I have not been able to pull her over...grrrrrr. However, when I play tug with Norman we play by my rules and I pull him all over the yard. (If Norman tells, you differently do not believe him.) Norman and I give most of our toys the two, 60 pound, dog tugging test -- no matter what size toy it is -- we just love to tug! The toys in the TUGGING category are ones that I especially like to play tug with -- or that I highly recommend.
