A Few Barks From Betsy...
I need all of my friends to stand up to our humans and demand -- NO MORE CLOTHES on dogs! Just look at this picture of me -- what could be more ridiculous? I only put on this stupid witch hat to prove my point!
I hate clothes -- clothes are for people who do not have beautiful fur like us dogs! Dog should NOT wear clothes. That is my opinion and I am sticking with it! Do you agree with me? Norman certainly doesn't he loves to wear clothes -- I guess he does not think his fur is beautiful like mine.
If I went to a Halloween party -- here are some of my dog NON-COSTUME ideas --
Nudist Colony Member -- Of course, that would mean that I go in my birthday suit.
Birthday Dog -- What else would you wear on your birthday?
PETA Member -- I would wear a sign that said, "Fur belongs on animals NOT people".
Cow -- I would wear my natural fur. Hey! Don't laugh when I was a puppy Alex, a little boy, thought that I was a cow because I was black and white. Of course, I would have to go as a boy cow because I am not going to put on some stupid utter.
Business Owner -- Of course, I would not need to dress up for this one because that is what I am...I own BestFriends General Store. Though, I might agree to wear one of my dad's ties for this costume.
Mother Dog -- All I would need is to carry a stuffed puppy in my mouth.
I am sure that I could think of tons of ideas, but all of this thinking is making me tired.
Dogs of the world unite and STOP letting people put stupid clothes on you. Of course, if you are like Norman or you do not have your parents trained you should buy your Halloween dog costumes at our store.
