We recommend that you try lots of shapes, textures, and sounds to see if your dog’s destruction drive is triggered by a dog toy’s shape, texture, or sound. Some dogs, terrier especially, are triggered by squeakers — they do great with voice chip toys. It is hard to recommend dog toys for Aggressive Chewers without knowing more about the dog’s playing style. However, here are four dog toys that have worked for other Aggressive Chewers.
I can never say enough about the Twist n Treat dog toys by Premier. Not only are these toys tough, they are challenging too! The Busy Buddy Twist n Treat is a space ship style dog treat dispenser. What I like about this treat dispenser is that it twists apart so that you can keep it clean, and because it twists you can adjust it for any size treat, including peanut butter or cream cheese. This dog toy comes in four sizes, for Aggressive Chewers, I always recommend to get one size larger than the recommend size.
The eGGe is an action dog toy! We recommend having your dog play with it outside — because your dog is going to be moving when they play with it. This is a large egg shaped ball toy — your dog cannot get a hold of it so it cannot chew and destroy it. Push n Play Jolly Balls are known as nearly indestructible dog balls. Nearly, is correct because we have heard of talented aggressive chewers that can destroy these fun dog toys. Extra Large 5 Knot Rope Dog Toy is extra big and extra strong — it is 40 inches long, 1.5 inches thick, and the knots are 4 inches across! Some dogs cannot have rope toys because they eat the strings. However, if your dog does not consume ropes…we have USA made ropes and ropes that are super long and thick.
