I sure hope that 2010 is not like 2009! The first reason is because Norman bit me and I had to have stitches in 2009 — that should never happen again. The second reason is that several of our dog toy manufactures had problems keeping up with the demand for quality fun dog toys.

I am recommending that manufactures always know what toys our friends will want. To that end, I am recommending that all dog toy manufactures listen to me, because I know what dogs want. I also promise to give the listening manufactures my top recommendations…when they deserve them. It is time that dog toy manufacturers listen to us dogs and the humans that take care of us…we want quality dog toys and we want them to be super fun too! I am sending my mom and her sisters to The Global Pet Expo to explain my new supply requirements and to seek out other manufactures that know how to make fun dog toys.

The next, and maybe the most important problem that I want to solve, is dogs who do not have forever loving homes. I promise to give at least $100 to dog rescue groups every month. Dogs need your help too I cannot do it alone! Please donate your time and money to groups in your area that help dogs find forever homes. Let’s wipe out dog homelessness in 2010.

Last, but not least, in an effort to reach across the isle, I want to announce that I will be adding a Kitty Corner to BestFriends General Store. I know that kitties need toys too. All I ask for in return is that our office cat, Maude, stop scratching me when I get too close.

Thank you…dog bless America.
